Everyone dreams of self-sufficiency. A home without utility bills, not subject to weather, having a garden, an unobstructed view of Southwestern geography, clean air, friendly neighbors at a safe distance, all at a low price. The dream is reality via Silacon Corporation.
An income of less than $1500.00 per month free's one from financial worry.
There are five flavors of EnableLot:
The perfect geodesic sphere, the cylinder, the A-frame, the torus (donut) and the Standard adobe pueblo emulation. Perfect spheres are the most interesting and material efficient. Silacon invented the 'no leak' geodesic sphere. The next flavor is a right circular cylinder, then the torus regarding efficient use of enclosure surfacing materials. The indiginous Tee Pee is common simple dwelling celebrating smart contributions from Native Americans. The adobe pueblo style of home is the least costly regarding construction materials yet generally is very labor intensive, unless of Silacon origin.
Adobe home builders apply massive amounts of clay or rammed earth that stores solar energy during sunlight then releases the energy as heat at night achieving temperature averaging. Modern HVAC systems do not apply, thus 'first cost' expense of an adobe house is control via windows and capture solar insolation.
Silacon created the SSHP (Smart Structural Hybrid Panel) to enable the neo-adobe pueblo dwelling. The SSHP (or SSP in its simplest form) is a multi-cellular structure that exceeds the performance and delivery of honeycomb panels at much lower price. A house constructed of Silacon SSP's is strong withstanding hurricane forces yet light enough to allow a reasonably healthly person to assemble and fasten the panel to form an enclosure that needs no inside our outside finishing. Those wishing to build from the ground up can buy from Silacon the components (cells and smart devices) then construct a panel of any size and shape.
