Silacon Corporation began in Minnesota, USA as an R&D firm under the kind wing of the University of Minnesota at Coleraine, on the great Mesabi Iron Raange. .

Silacon began by inventing infrastructre rebuild materials. Silacon invented the modern 'bone shaped' macro-fiber and fiber production methods. The year was 2000. Silacon engaged as a ad hoc partner Los Alamos National Laboratory who sought licensee's for LANL research that could invent and produce a fiber that is price, performance, and delivery superior to offerings thought to be inferior in the plastics and concrete construction industry. The Silacon fiber morphology was a Q-Tip like shaped macro-fiber flat along the length between piecewise smooth nodules. The result of this venture was a true friend, LANL, with industry awareness and industry access to some of the world's best technoilogies. Others around the world now manufacture the Silacon 'bone'. The Silacon fiber and production methods are novel and original as is the mathematical physics that defines fiber performance. Silacon invented a new artificial intelligence optimized mathematical modeling moving the civil and structural engineering arts to the next level in sophistication.
